"Bill? Bill wake up!" Tom tried to wake Bill, "I forgot to tell you we have to go to the park with Georg today!"

Tom poked Bills face until his eyes opened very slowly and he rolled over to his side.

"Bi-ill. Come on!"

"Guhh. Why?" Bill said, his eyes barely open.

"Georg volunteered us for some little sibling thing at the park today! I'm not sure why.. I think his mom assed him to do it..."

Bill got up and rummaged for clothes.

"Sibling...that's like a little brother right?"

Bill had never had a sibling, he always had wondered what it would be like. He continued to think about it while he looked through the bag of clothes he had gotten with Tom and found a red shirt and a pair of black pants.  He quickly tried them on and asked Tom his opinion.

"How do I look?"

Tom looked Bill over, he looked radiant, as always.

"Great," he chuckled and looked at his own shirt, "and me?"

"Uhm. Baggy." Bill said with a smile.

Tom laughed because that was his style spot on.

"Are you ready? We really gotta head out now."

"Yeah. Hold on a second." Bill rushed into the bathroom, leaving Tom to wonder what he was doing.

Tom headed over to the bed and was about to sit down, assuming it would take a while, when Bill walked out, his black hair spiked up like a character in a television show. Tom's jaw dropped, Bill had done all that in under 5 minutes.

"How the hell did that happen?"

"Natural talent I guess...I like it." Bill smiled again, as did Tom, it was infectious.

"It looks cool. Come on. It's the same park where the party was at."
---

The sounds of little kids playing and the smell of fresh air hit the two abruptly. Tom looked around for Georg in the crowd of kids and adults scattered around the park.

"Tom! You made it!" a voice said from behind.

Tom turned around and saw Georg running up from behind.

"Dude I'm so happy you're here. I did not want to do this alone."

"Yeah. So what happens now?"

"Uh. Oh yeah. We have to see that lady over there in a few minutes to get our 'buddies'." he flipped his brown hair over his shoulder and out of his eyes, "Hey! It's that guy from the party! Uh. Will?"

Bill snapped out of his daydreams and responded,

"Bill..Nice to meet you again Georg."

"Right Bill. I was close. Cool hair by the way."

"Thanks." Bill said shyly and averted his eyes to the kids.

"Big Buddies!" the woman shouted, "Come meet your friends!"

The three looked over to where the voice was coming from and saw the herd of children flocking to the woman. They walked over to meet their little buddies for the day.

"Okay Big Buddies, go over there and wait, the Little Buddies will pick who they want to be their big brother or sister, so mind your manners! Don't teach them anything bad."

Her eyes focused on two people in the crowd, Tom and Bill, as if they looked like potentially bad people.

All the older kids walked over to the left side of the playground as instructed and waited for the little kids to come greet them.

A little boy, much dressed like Tom, ran over to him and sat down on the grass.

"Hi. I'm Johnny! Who're you?" the boy asked.

"Uh. Tom. hey." Tom responded, he was never good with kids and had no idea what to say.

Over near Georg, a young girl with short hair ran around behind him and jumped on his back.

"Holy Sh-!" Georg exclaimed, and stopped himself, as the woman was eyeing him.

"I'm Kassidy! You smell good." she said innocently.

"I'm Georg. Uh. Thanks I guess."

Bill was still waiting as he watched a bunch of children run towards people they'd like to be their older siblings. For a while, he thought he wouldn't be picked. Then he saw a little girl running towards him with a stuffed bear in her arms, her shoes untied, and her face in a wide grin.

Bill couldn't help but smile at how silly she looked.

"Hi! I'm Janie!" she said while running, dropping her stuffed bear, "Oops! Ted!"

She ran back and got it and continued running towards Bill filled with excitement about meeting her new brother.

"I'm Janie what's your name? You have nice hair and you smell good!" she blurted out at once.

"My name is Bill. Thankyou! I like your bear."

"Hi Bill. Ted likes you too."

She kneeled down and put Ted on Bill's shoe.

"Wanna go on the swings?" she asked, hopping up and down.

"Okay sure!"

Bill bent down and gave the bear back to Janie and walked towards the playground part of the park.

Tom watched Bill, and how good he was with children. He looked at his new little brother putting grass inside his favourite hat.

"Hey! Cut that out. I like that hat."

Johnny put the hat full of grass on top of Tom's head and started to laugh.

"Wow. You're just super funny now aren't you."

"Hey let's slide!"

Before Tom even got a chance to process that, Johnny was already half way to the slide.

"Hey kid! Wait up!"

Tom got up and started running after him, hiking up his pants every few metres.
---

"Push me big brother!" Janie asked.

"Okay, tell me when you get too high."

He gently pushed her back, he kept going until she finally told him to stop when she almost went over the top.

"This is the most fun ever! I wish I had a brother like you!" she yelled from the peak of her flight.

Bill smiled at that remark. It made him feel really good inside.

"Help! Bill! I'm spinny!"

Bill snapped out of his daze and looked up to see Janie twirling about off balance in the swing. She looked like she could fall at any given moment. Without a thought he caught her right as she fell.

She looked up at him and the scared expression plastered on his face. He let out a sigh of relief upon seeing she was safe.

"You saved me! You're the best!"

She hopped out of his arms and hugged his waist.
---

"Buddies! Over here!" the woman cried out.

Tom trudged over to the woman, mud on his pants and grass in his cap. his buddie following close behind, trying to pull his pants down.

Bill walked over happily with flowers in his hair with his buddy on his shoulders.

Georg walked over with a little girl clinging to his legs constantly telling him how nice he smelled.

"I hope you all had a good time. It's time for the Little Buddies to go back to their parents now. Big Buddies, I'm proud of you all."

"Hahaha what happened to you Bill?" pointing at the flowers in his hair.

"She said I looked pretty.."

"Guys don't look pretty! Little girls do. You look hella funny."

"At least I don't have muddy pants." Bill remarked with a smirk.

"Hey shut up! My buddy was a devil."

They started to laugh at eachother and went back to Tom's house.
---

"Did you boys have fun with your siblings? And what in the world did they do to you?" Simone said curiously.

"My buddy was evil." Tom replied.

"My buddy said i looked like a princess."

"Well Princess Bill, you're lovely. You better go up while we make dinner."
---

"Bill, how're you so good with kids?" Tom said, combing the grass out of his hair.

"I don't know, they just like me."

"They're not the only ones." Tom said quietly.

"What?"

"Nothing." Tom blushed, "Hey, I kinda hate to ask, but how many days left?"

Bill remembered what he heard as he went to sleep.

"8 now." he sighed, "I don't think I'll ever find anyone." he sat on the bed.

"No no. You have to."

"I think I might have already found someone. But...it's too weird. Nevermind."

"Who?"

"I can't tell you."
